Although there are no bandwidth values that define narrow or broad filters in UV or visible or in IR, it is common to consider filters that have bandwidth 2% or less of the central or peak wavelength as narrowband. The Krohn-Hite 3360 Series provides a tunable frequency range from 0.1Hz to 200kHz, and with the 002 option, the range is extended to 0.005Hz. Each channel of the 3360 Series is a selectable low-pass or high-pass, 4-pole filter providing an input gain to 50dB, and an output gain to 20dB selectable in 0.1dB steps. The Krohn-Hite Model 3940 programmable, dual channel, Butterworth/Bessel filter is a GPIB/benchtop filter covering a cutoff frequency range from 3Hz to 2MHz. Attenuation slope is 24dB/octave per channel. The 3940 will accept input levels of ±4.5V peak. Pre and post-filter gains of 0dB or 20dB is also provided.
