RF Filters and Microwave Filters - (336 companies)

RF filters and microwave filters are devices that pass or reject signals by frequency. Basic types include bandpass filters, band reject filters, low pass filters, and high pass filters. Search by Specification | Learn More about RF Filters and Microwave Filters

Long Pass Filters and Short Pass Filters
Long Pass Filters and Short Pass Filters - (56 companies)

Long pass filters transmit a wide spectral band of long wavelength radiation while blocking short wavelength radiation. Short pass filters transmit a wide spectral band of short wavelength radiation and block long wave radiation. Search by Specification | Learn More about Long Pass Filters and Short Pass Filters

Passive Filters
Passive Filters - (13 companies)

Passive filters are implemented using only passive components such as resistors, capacitors and inductors. These filters do not produce any amplification of the input signal. Learn More about Passive Filters

Digital Filters
Digital Filters - (7 companies)

Digital filters use digital signal processing (DSP) to perform numerical calculations on sampled values of a signal. Learn More about Digital Filters

Signal Filters
Signal Filters - (133 companies)

Signal filters block or decrease (attenuate) unwanted frequencies or signal wave characteristics. Search by Specification | Learn More about Signal Filters

Optical Bandpass Filters
Optical Bandpass Filters - (85 companies)

Optical bandpass filters are designed to transmit a specific waveband. They are composed of many thin layers of dielectric materials, which have differing refractive indices to produce constructive and destructive interference in the transmitted light. Search by Specification | Learn More about Optical Bandpass Filters

Bandpass Filters

Band-pass filters are usually divided in two groups: 1. Broadband pass filters, and 2. Narrowband pass filters. Although there are no bandwidth values that define narrow or broad filters in UV or visible or in IR, it is common to consider filters that have bandwidth 2% or less of the central or peak wavelength as narrowband.
